#ORFIndia .@orfonline & @esyacentre are hosting #PolicyAgora, a 13 week, intense in-person programme. Week 9 of Policy Agora, jointly offered by ORF and the Esya Centre, resumed last week after the winter break. With just one month remaining, the cohort has been working intensively on their capstone projects. The week opened with a session on careers in policy-focused journalism, where Aashish Aryan, Senior Assistant Editor at Business Standard, offered students an inside view of the newsroom and insights into the craft of policy reporting. This was followed by an interactive, moderated discussion with @IGuruPrakash, National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Assistant Professor of Law at Patna University. He shared perspectives on a range of themes, including youth participation in politics, unlocking India’s demographic dividend in a timely and effective manner, India’s policy feedback mechanisms, the functioning of current governance systems, as well as federalism and consensus-building. The session sparked a dynamic exchange of ideas among all the attendees.
