Mikel Arteta on why Norgaard has NOT played regularly: “Because these guys have been exceptional. I had to leave two players out of the squad [vs. Newcastle]. At the end, Mikel [Merino] is out & they were Christian & Richy [Calafiori], so that’s going to happen.”
“As I said, if the Premier League allows us to have 20 or 22 players, we can have everybody involved & hopefully next season that will be the case.” ❌🇩🇰

🚨 While it’s understood Bukayo Saka is doing everything within his power to return to the pitch as soon as possible, his issue - thought to be achilles tendinopathy - is delicate.
Saka is yet to be discounted from featuring against Manchester City this weekend, but would need to progress in the coming days to stand a chance of making the squad. [@RyanTaylorSport]

@Salibasexual02 @JoelAlhamdu why are you not talking about carabao cup final?
English

Manchester City went to the Emirates; Arsenal parked the bus but got a lucky goal. In the Carabao Cup final, they tried the same thing and still lost. Now they’ve scraped through to the Champions League semifinals scoring just one goal across both legs, and somehow their fans think they can come to our ground and beat us? Delusional fanbase, we’ll just wait.

@Alarsenalnews_ Blame arteta not Eze ,what kind of this style of playing, even burnley is better style of playing than arsenal.

We all expected more from Eberechi Eze, but that’s not how he’s playing, despite him scoring religious goals sometimes.
Both Eze and Michael Olise were at Crystal Palace, and the way Olise is playing at Bayern Munich is above expectations. He has become one of their top players. Currently, you can’t talk about the top three players in the Bundesliga without mentioning him.
But Eze, on the other side, looks totally relaxed in serious matches. You don’t see his eyes burning; you don’t see him sweating. It’s hard to see Eze chasing to intercept. Laziness in aerial ability. He doesn’t switch play, he doesn’t press, and it’s rare to see him go for 50/50 balls. He doesn’t take on defenders or run quickly. Opponents don’t see him as a threat to watchout, they feel comfortable around him.
All he does is gentle hop and walk, expecting a teammate to give him the ball or waiting to receive free balls. As an attacking midfielder, his commitment to making the midfield solid and dominant is always below standard. The moment we face opponents with quick transitions or dominant midfields, Eze becomes a passenger and makes our midfield break down. So imagine Eze and Zubimendi in the midfield. It's always short 2 against Arsenal.
We are different from Crystal Palace, and it shows Olise has developed massively after joining Kompany’s side, but with Eze, there’s not a single difference. It’s the same performance even after joining a big club like Arsenal. It feels like watching him play in a normal training session. Sometimes you look at his body language and ask yourself if he’s dealing with something internally.
It’s about time we see him play with aggression where required and embrace possession-based football. Some players are frustrating to watch compared to others who excel in those positions, and Eze is one of them lacking such qualities of proper AM. He always depends on moments of religious goals to make headlines, but football is about commitment and hard work to win and we demand him to improve his work rate as a good player.

This Arsenal team are just full off losers man, they win meaningless games all the time but when it’s time to finish the job they crumble
