@PistL_Pete 1. Our clock doesnt allows game to last more than 3-4 hours. You always know the game will last 90+10 minutes.
2. It doesnt allows for broadcasters to add commercials between stops
So it's better. If it's not broken don't fix it
English

@Macbra2 @g_jones24 @RealSkipBayless You always know a soccer match will last about 90 + 5-10 minutes. That's predictable. Meanwhile, your timers are far worse. In basketball, 5 seconds can take 5 minutes, and a 40-minute game can last 3 hours. Yet you're talking about not knowing when a game ends?
English

@g_jones24 @RealSkipBayless I love how you all keep deflecting to talking about commercials rather than addressing his point he is making: Not knowing when the game is going to end is stupid in the year 2026. Heck, it was stupid in 1930.
English

@OilyBigDog @RealSkipBayless Because then matches will become ridiculously long. Instead of the usual 90+10 minutes, they'd last 3-4 hours depending on how many stoppages there are.
English

@RealSkipBayless I don’t really watch much soccer so I don’t really get why they don’t just stop the clock and restart it every time something happens instead of making up some rounded up number for stoppage time at the end
English

@lcd_dont_Lie2Me @HarrisFanaroff If you'd taken even a quick look at the lineup, you'd have seen that Pochettino fielded an entirely second-string team. And rightly so. The US had already qualified for the knockout stage, and the players could use the extra rest
English

Did you not see the absolute shit show tonight. Our high school varsity team would have outplayed the US tonight. This was their worst performance I've ever seen. Bosnia could run circles around tonight's team. I will not be rooting for them going forward, I can forgive a loss, but not utter stupidity, and tonight was the stupidest playing i've seen from them.
English

@HarrisFanaroff If the US reaches the World Cup final, the whole country will hype it up. Trump and celebrities will join in, and they'll probably show it in Times Square. Even then, I don't see it hitting 100M live viewers. Around 70M is more realistic
English

@TrueJohnAdams @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill And I was talking about play during WC. It's obvious you don't understand football and can only judge by the score. If you knew anything about the game, you'd see Spain played far better against Saudi Arabia than the US did against Paraguay
English

@sankulov99 @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill Ok clearly you are a little slow....We are only talking play during the WC. You sound dumb. Tying a team is not better than a 2-0 result.
English

@lordcalias @strawberryrohan @Bueller79 2010 and 2014 are so iconic that people are still remember those World Cups
English

@strawberryrohan @Bueller79 Show the evidence, because there us literally thousands of videos this year to prove it.
English

@MattWi77iams Two reasons why our clock is better
No ad breaks. The clock keeps ticking even after fouls. Your system was designed just to squeeze in commercials.
Time commitment. Our game is a predictable 90+ mins. Yours drags on for 3-4 hours because of constant stoppages. Its eexhausting
English

@gazebospills @citehchris Cause its a massive event on the same level as the Olympics. Countries that host it spend years preparing, building and upgrading stadiums, and investing billions of dollars to stage the tournament
English

@citehchris Wait why isn’t a yearly thing like domestic where each year a new world champion? Too much to fit into schedule?
English

@TrueJohnAdams @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill Spain is one of the favorite easily. And yes they played better and have much better quality players. If you have eyes and atleast understand football a little bit you know it. it's more likely to go like this: a 75% chance that Spain wins, and 25% for the US
English

@sankulov99 @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill Europeans are actually slow.....This is 100% based on the tournament at hand. Not their potential or anything like that. Is Spain a better team than US? Yes. Have they played better this tournament? No
English

@TrueJohnAdams @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill team. That match was actually very competitive. Both Japan and the Netherlands are strong sides.
Genuine question - did you even watch these matches, or are you just judging by the scorelines?
English

@Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill He said based on how they've played in the WC.Spain tied a tiny African Island. They have not played better than the US. Japan tied, that isn't better. They may have higher rankings but their play hasnt been good so far. Be upset that you didn't even understand the question.
English

@TrueJohnAdams @Pepe_Hodl10 @OverEHill Spain’s peak is much higher. The U.S. peak is still unknown since they’ve only played mid-tier teams so far. They might compete with Croatia or Mexico, but France, Spain, and England are on another level.
It’s funny hearing you mention Japan drawing - Netherlands are also a top
English

@CoffeeNBears_ @VT4L_Joe @CracraftFan If usa wins the world cup. The whole country, together with the trump, will celebrate as if they had won a war
English

@KrystalFarr3 @inZOINews Right? That’s what I thought too. And I get that they have AI features in game but the roadmap should have a preview of the things that are coming not an AI image. Last years roadmap didn’t have that
