It’s not that deep. Fortnite adds a ton of collabs, triple t happens to be super popular and also happens to be ai generated. They did the work with real people to make it happen, so it’s totally valid, you’re just not the target audience for this skin, and that’s okay. Just don’t buy it.

Disappointing to see this happen in the first place, and ofc it won't stop here, that should unfortunately be obvious! The necessity baffles me… throw that in the trash and give your talented minds the time to create intriguing original shop skins again, proudly marketing them or integrating them into the story, not just releasing for the sake of it. Your marketing quality for shop originals has become sooo scarce, and when present, incredibly lame and uncreative. Or support the community concept artists, the countless ideas your Omniverse longs for, who've been dedicated and motivated for years and still are, instead of throwing this plaguing nonsense in their faces… then at least your results would be based on ART. And you'd bring radiant smiles to people, human to human. Real and true power.

And unless that 2nd skill is specifically tribe unity like what Aug 2024 Okayu had, you will not be missing out on anything because usually it's either useless or very situational (read: only worth using in Hololive collabs themselves, where you can just buy them from point shop)

Ngl, Hololive collabs are the most pointless collabs to put your maximum effort into beating super minigame 11+, because the rewards from those are the 2nd skill books of certain characters which will just be in the point shop 6 months later due to Hololive collabs being biannual

@VTuberHistorian Joining holostars is like going indie with a pseudo corporate vibe in it. You're in the company but your activities and overall growth/influence is not that far from being INDIE. Cover should just sell the IPs and let them go full Indie, That's the best help they can do for them

Cover Corp has decided to limit or stop company productions or backing for HOLOSTARS as a project--which includes 3D Streams, Anniversaries, concerts, merch, and even original songs. They admit that this is due to Holostars as a brand not being financially sustainable, and that by doing this they hope to make it so. They will still continue to support individual projects for members, but company-wide support is going to be significantly limited. Can't say I wasn't expecting it, but it's a major bad news for all Holostars fans and Holostars members...

Most people hating on Hololive/Cover without knowing that Yagoo (CEO & founder) the one created this project & became their branch manager in the beginning. He wanted it to succeed, he supported & joined their streams as he could. I am not a fan of Holostars, but I hope them to succeed someday. From my point of view, fans need to flood the internet about them. Just like in 2020, people are flooding the internet about Hololive. Fans create the demand like what memes become popular & consumers choose what products will survive.
