I spoke with FM of Iran @araghchi this morning. Finland welcomes the news of a ceasefire and a return to negotiations.
We stand ready to support peace in the region and call for the respect of the security and human rights of all people, as enshrined in the UN Charter.

I was wrong. I made a mistake in my analysis of the ICE killing of Renee Good. I rushed to conclusions. I let my bias get the best of me. And I’m sorry.

@BowesChay Because Asians are not considered human beings in Finland, they have no human rights.

@globaltimesnews This image has made us Japanese hate Finns. This image has now become a big issue in Japan! What's more, even the Japanese ambassador to Finland approves of this image! Japanese people are disappointed to find out that Finland is a stupid country.

Miss Finland has apologized to China and Asian community as she was stripped of her title three months after winning it, following criticism over her sharing a racially charged social media post in late November that showed her making a “slanted eye gesture,” multiple media including Helsinki Times reported.

I'm astonished by the bizarre mindset of people in Northern Europe and Western Europe who think it's acceptable to leave the decision of “whether something is discriminatory or not” up to the perpetrators. I once visited Finland as an investor back when Nokia had just developed the car phone to ‘prevent freezing deaths during vehicle breakdowns,’ and it was selling explosively within Finland. I was involved with them professionally for a time. It reminded me anew of the unshakable, deep-seated, unconscious sense of superiority toward Asians that remains firmly entrenched.
Well, it might be the twisted emotions of a country where dark, cold nights drag on endlessly, filled with Juopporakki (slang term for a drunk person who is behaving like a nuisance.) wandering about—sounds just like the Japanese word and carries a similar meaning.

How is this happening in 2025? What’s even worse…how are members of Finland’s political party doing this? What an absolute disgrace

Never been to Finland before. And THIS is how I got to know Finland.
