@AtletiekLive @LaurentMeuwly It looked like poor Blake was jostled quite a bit, leading him to run too erratically. Then the crazy exchange with JAM had a knock on effect, unable to pass the baton. But after that, everyone ran good legs! They lost 3 secs at the exchange so could have medalled.

@le_petit_cochon I was trying to work out who was at fault, if anyone, but its so hard to tell! Blake was all over the place on his leg, but it looked like JAM caused the issue at the exchange, but God knows! We only ever get this in M4x4 & now the X4x4...never w4x4! Us men are the problem!

I was impressed... dealt with the pressure well. She looks like a power lifter though...dare I say, she might need to address that at some point

A bit unlucky for Philina that she was in the fastest heat of them all, but she has the fastest time for a small q, so she'll probably make it. And 0.02 over PB is a great time for a 19 year old at her first world championships. She is really just there to learn.

Klaver can take Bukowiecka if she beats her to the break. Though neither look at their best.
The winner is likely in ht 2. It's gonna be an almighty scrap to the break & all the way round. Jaeger is strong and can run anither 50.6. Manuel needs to not overcook it.

It would seem Crammy is wrong re the 400m finals...it's Klaver v Bukowiecka in 1 and Jaeger v Manuel in 2...

Probably a stupid question, but i'll ask anyway: Why are these champs in "Kujawy Pomorze" ? This is the Torun arena, the Gold meet in February was in Torun, not "Kujawy Pomorze"?

@iownabook @IanTnf I remember asking my Polish barber about Silesia back then. There seems to be this push in Poland to recognise regions and promote it's various cultures & identities.
Nothing to stop you Germans promoting Bavaria if you also choose to!

@IanTnf I did google the name, it is the area where Torun is. I just don't understand why. I mean, it should be the town name, not the area. Euro Champs 22 were in Munich, not Bavaria. OGs 28 are in Los Angeles, not California.
