@ElzieBag Love a pinard more than sonicaid! Although it took some time to hear anything in my first week in practice, I find it easier to use and get a much clearer heart rate. Only use sonicaid if it’s noisy or so mum can hear 👂❤️

Began an induction for a lady this week at 37 weeks. Third baby. I was the first and only Midwife to have ever used a pinnard when auscultating the fetal heart. Numerous ctgs, two previous labours. #backtobasics #artofmidwifery #betterbirths #midwife
