It is absolutely wild to me that people have no issue demanding vacation leave, sick leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision coverage, etc but think it is absurd we should also support women literally doing the work to supply the next generstion of employers, employees, and consumers. Maternity leave isn't a personal vacation. It is a societal vocation. Women are providing the only essential element to future success in the workplace: humans. Yet, we act like they are draining us of our resources. We are so short-sighted.
