@NahumDyer I used to feel the same way too. For a long time, I thought forgiving meant excusing what they did. But I’ve learned forgiveness isn’t for them, it’s for you. It’s about releasing the weight so you don’t keep carrying their actions with you.

@sarahbackman Excellently well said even though i am generally not a forgiving person to who those who purposely did me wrong. There are certain people from my past whom i refuse to forgive for their bad actions against me no matter how many years has gone by.
