Netflix's Watership Down series turned out to be very well done, and it was faithful to the book, except where it cut the boring folk tales. It was a very different look compared to the 1978 film.

I wrote this story a few years ago for @WIRED about the world's first microchip (no, not that one), the F-14, and a poignant piece of family history. Been thinking about it a lot today, and I can't wait to go see #TopGun because of it. wired.com/story/secret-h…
