Long track and short track speed skaters have won the most medals in Olympic history for Canada Both programs won five in Milano, upping the long track total to 47 and short track to 42 Long track (formerly short track) Maltais and short track’s Dubois carry the flag 🇨🇦

BRONZE FOR CANADA 🇨🇦 Val Maltais has won her THIRD medal of the Olympics. It’s a bronze medal in the 1500m. One gold. Two bronze. In her fifth Olympics. Canada now has 16 medals at Milano Cortina 2026.

HIS NAME IS STEVEN DUBOIS And he just won gold for Canada, keeping the golden streak alive now at four consecutive days. It’s his fifth Olympic medal. Outstanding.
