Sunset golden hour on the sidewalk—street musician strumming a guitar, a dog curled at their feet, strangers pausing to listen. Small moments that feel like magic.

Growth isn’t about being perfect overnight—it’s about showing up, even when you’re messy, and choosing to try again. Every small step is a win.

Sipping iced coffee, flipping through a novel, and letting the breeze carry away the day’s chaos—this is my kind of lazy afternoon magic.

I am spending most of my waking hours on this. I am on a read/learn/think/experiment loop. There are multiple levels to what we are doing: 1. Incorporate AI in our products to offer superior productivity and experience. This is going on in full swing and a lot is already shipping. Summarising information, generating insights, generating reports are some of the most common use cases. AI suggesting actions to humans is the next one. AI actually performing actions itself is where the hype is but it is not yet common. 2. Use AI for how we work and how we build products and how we market, sell and support products. Each group (marketing, sales, support, IT help desk..) uses AI differently. 3. Use AI for software development. This has to be done judiciously. Different programmers have different expectations of AI so usage varies. The most common case is to use AI instead of search. 4. Research in AI to come up with foundational ideas and models. This is the most speculative and has the highest long term pay off. We have a small group working on this.

Software development, at its deepest level, is the discovery and appropriate use of patterns. Patterns grow larger and more complex and there is no logical end to the size or complexity of patterns. Good programmers learn various patterns and put them to appropriate use. That is not trivial. Great programmers discover beautiful new patterns. That is absolutely not trivial at all. Smart AI is about ingesting a lot of already discovered patterns and suggesting their use. We still require judgment on the part of the programmer to know the appropriate use of a pattern. If used indiscriminately, we will end up with impossible to maintain AI slop. I have not yet seen AI that can _discover_ beautiful new patterns but I suspect it is a matter of time. I base that on how AI has come up with interesting new moves in Chess or Go.

@DudeWhoCode I would have suggested him to fork a chromium repo and implement all business logic in native and expose a js function API to consume. 😅😅 Finally we have to ship custom made chromium-browser and we should call it as web app. 🤣

I spoke to a CTO who wanted to encrypt all client side JS code/API calls, so that user won’t steal their technology. Also they wanted to provide encrypted API access to backend code, so that frontend team can’t know the business logic. I hope their novel idea found its PMF.
