SARETEC is hosting the Research day festival over a period of three days. @CPUT

SPVT TMs, merSETA and SARETEC Team together with other at the World Future Energy Summit undertaking a tour at Masdar City, follows the approval by the Minister Dr Blade Nzimande as part of further development in TVET teaching which they completed in 2020.

The Solar Photovoltaic Service Technician Technical Mentors programme is funded by merSETA since 2019 to date. Among the World Future Energy Summit group participants, merSETA is represented by Ms Tsholo Mungoni, Manager: Projects and Mr Pride Chuene.

SARETEC has led a group of Solar Photovoltaic Service Technicians from five Technical and Vocational Training and Education Colleges the World Future Energy Summit taking place in Abu Dhabi. The group has just completed this Quality Council and Occupation qualification.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Chris Nhlapo today finalised an agreement with Eskom and the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) to up-skill staff at the decommissioned Komati Power station in Mpumalanga, to retrain workers in renewable energy skills through SARETEC.
