@PTI_News If he has been admitted to SJ Hospital to prevent the deterioration of his health on an emergency basis, IV fluids, IV drugs should be given without waiting for his consent. For emergency Rx not giving IV fluids and waiting for his consent does not make any medical sense?

Safdarjung Hospital issues Sonam Wangchuk's health update. The health bulletin reads, "Shri Sonam Wangchuk, who is admitted at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, remains conscious and haemodynamically stable. His pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation are currently within normal limits. However, he is exhibiting clinical signs of dehydration, and in view of his prolonged fasting, his condition warrants immediate medical intervention to prevent further deterioration and potentially serious complications. An independent expert from AIIMS, New Delhi examined the patient and concurred with the treating team's assessment that immediate oral/intravenous fluid and electrolyte therapy is medically indicated. An AllMS doctor has also joined the treating team and will remain continuously available for monitoring and clinical management."

@ayusshsanghi Yes, the only effective way to deal with criminals involved in this dastardly act is " death" . Only fear of death would deter criminals but we require some real leadership in Bengal. The legal route in India is not efficient for delivering justice in a time bound matter.

I think at this point in my the only punishment should be given to ra*ists is the dealth penalty. Only then, cases like these will ultimately stop. What do you have to say on this? Not having an opinion is also an opinion. Country first. 🇮🇳
