The Albion official Twitter feed provides a really good way of highlighting which Baggies fans to follow and more importantly which ones to avoid following. By God we have some absolute weapons amongst us.

@CJHall83 The level of abuse aimed at our players is horrific. I remember a friend asking Livermore at a Foundation event if they heard it, and he said “every word”. Seems to have gotten worse in the past year too.

Is it too much to ask for people to not take a post that’s trying to raise money for an amazing charity and use the comments under it to ridicule one of our players. Whatever you think of the bloke maybe just realise that there’s a time and a place for such comments? #wba

@TheLiquidatorP1 Used to sit East. Now in Brummie. Huge amount of abuse shouted at our own players dims the atmosphere for me. It’s not a lot of people but it’s enough - at least 10 lads round me just slinging it at them all game, winning or losing. I get it’s an outlet but it’s not pleasant.

How do we get the Brummie bouncing? Any thoughts on improving #wba atmosphere, Baggies fans?

Strange isn’t it? Our future has been on a knife edge, we have new owners, & had a manager who salvaged us from bottom of the league. We’re so conditioned to expect instant success but reality is things take time. I think that the last 18 months are worth celebrating! #WBA

I’m 34, Wolves haven’t won at Hawthorns since 1996 (I was 6). Since we’ve had 2002 promotion, 2007 3-0 fa cup win and playoff double, 2012 5-1 win at Molineux, covid 3-2 win there when we were awful plus routine wins between times. Sunday really isn’t our ‘cup final’ #wba #wwfc
