Dominic Taylor (2027) 6’2, 180ln guard - From Somerset, MA, Taylor was one of the more dominant players in MIAA D2 this year. He is a three level scorer who doesn't have an offensive weakness. He can athletically finish at the rim—especially for reverse layups—but he also has outstanding deep shooting range. When he's double teamed, Taylor has really solid vision and is a willing and able passer. Scores efficiently at all three levels, keeps defenders off balance with his pace, and shows impressive poise as a creator. Processes the floor well and makes mature reads. High-major talent that should see a significant rise in the national rankings.

My second highlighted game of Day 4 at the @3SSBCircuit Palmetto Road Championship was an absolute heavyweight fight between Southern Assault 16U and BABC. This one had everything you could ask for. College coaches packed the sidelines, fans were standing on the edge of their seats, and every possession felt bigger than the last. Neither team could create much breathing room as the biggest lead of regulation was only 7 points. It was a game of runs, big shots, clutch stops, and nonstop answers. Every time one team looked ready to break free, the other fired right back. Then came the final minute, and the intensity shot through the roof. BABC tied the game at 73-73 on a clutch layup to force overtime. Southern Assault answered, BABC answered right back, and suddenly one overtime wasn't enough. The battle rolled into double overtime where the drama somehow reached another level. Southern Assault tied it again at 80-80 with only 16 seconds remaining to force a third overtime. By then nobody wanted to blink because every possession felt like it would decide the game. After nearly three full overtime battles, BABC finally found the last answer and escaped with an unforgettable 84-82 win in one of the best games of the weekend. BABC was led by #23 @Wijid15, who finished with 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist while catching fire from beyond the arc with 6 triples(6-8 for 75 percent). Every time Southern Assault looked ready to seize control, Wijid answered with another dagger from deep. His hot shooting stretched the defense, shifted momentum, and gave BABC the spark it needed throughout the marathon battle. Teammate #21 Braylon Washington added 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. He attacked with confidence, finished efficiently, and delivered timely buckets that helped BABC weather every Southern Assault run before they finally closed the door in triple overtime. Southern Assault was fueled by #4 Kingston Gould, who had a game-high 26 points while adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block. He attacked with confidence, created offense, and came through with big plays time after time to keep his team in position to win. Teammate #1 @ParkerMcDaniel0 was just as impressive, finishing with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. He battled until the final buzzer, delivering clutch baskets and relentless effort, but this time BABC made one more play to walk away with an unforgettable triple-overtime victory.

BABC answered every Southern Assault run by shooting 55.3% from the field and 12-of-23 (52.2%) from three-point range, delivering one of the top offensive performances of the weekend. Southern Assault countered with a balanced attack, shooting 50.0% from the floor, knocking down 10 three-pointers, and converting 26-of-30 free throws (86.7%) to keep the game within reach until the final possession. Wiji Dak, Braylon Washington, and Salim Diaby combined for 60 points, helping BABC survive a back-and-forth overtime battle and punch its ticket to the Final Four.
