@BetaProfiles Like just give me the option to turn up the aesthetic. I understand if they need to pare it down for normies, but please let me have a WWDC mode I can flip on.

Compared to iOS 26.1, the menu animation in the WWDC25 demo feels much more fluid and bouncy.

Kathryn | Google Sheet's Sidekick 👓
So you've just downloaded data and you are thinking, "Why are there so many columns? I only want to know X, Y, and Z!" 😩 Here’s a quick trick I use in Google Sheets to make sense of the chaos: 1️⃣ Go to Data → Column Stats 2️⃣ Review each column using the stats bar on the right This lets you spot duplicates, blanks, and unique values at a glance, so you can identify the columns that actually matter. I delete irrelevant ones as I go. Now you're left with clean, focused data that works for you. ✨

@theapplehub An underscreen sonic Touch ID plus Face ID plus a new Gait ID plus a new Behavior ID plus a new Location ID. Put it all together so Apple can always determine with high confidence whether it’s me using my iPhone without making me wait for scans. @reneritchie

@sterlingcrispin Okay but like it seems to me like the point is that the foundational hardware and tech and form factor that we’ve been waiting for has been realized. Even with awful “performance” now, it’s just tweaking and improvements from here. Am I missing something?

I worked on these for about a year at Snap, and I have a million negative things to say about the experience and the device, but I think the product speaks for itself and is obviously bad. I don’t want to get into the specifics because I might inadvertently break an NDA, and would probably hurt some people’s feelings who worked on it, but it’s really a disaster.

Okay it happened! Snapchat Spectacles AR glasses. Fully standalone. 46 degree field of view. 37 pixels per degree. That’s roughly like a 100” TV screen! 2x snapdragon chips. 45 minutes of battery. Auto transitioning lenses. Designed for co-presence. Spectator mode and more. Gotta hand it to Snap for pushing on this extremely hard engineering challenge, despite the rest of their peers going VR first as a stepping stone to this ultimate vision.

@PicturesFoIder It absolutely does not cost this much. Those prices are massively inflated by the hospital to get as much money as possible from the insurance company. They would likely charge way less if the patient did not have insurance.

@SnazzyLabs Page two is an extra folder of apps that I can access quickly without going to my Home Screen. Still figuring out exactly what I want. Honestly a bit shocked I ended up putting all the big stuff in the same spots as Apple; that might change when we get all the connection buttons.

@rsgnl @markgurman NO! Do NOT change the form factor! It’s plenty small as it is and mini users want to keep using the same accessories we’ve always used!

The next Mac mini per @markgurman: - A smaller design, closer to the size of an Apple TV - M4 and M4 Pro chips - 5 USB-C ports, including 2 on the front side like the Mac Studio - No more USB-A ports, but HDMI, Ethernet, and a headphone jack will remain

@bilawalsidhu Super cool. Obvi there’s a ton of improvement to be made, but the foundation is now built. Everything else is just tweaks to what already exists. This is the platonic concept everyone knows is necessary to start teasing mainstream adoption.

For anyone not aware, Apple’s A18 Pro chip in their PHONE has more powerful CPU cores than a literal i9-14900K desktop-class processor running at 6Ghz. Apple doesn’t get enough credit for their incredible silicon team.
