Ohio State will beat Michigan in 4 Days.

How great would it be to hang the banner next Sunday and beat little bro by 15+ before the Big Ten Tournament?

Tom Izzo says guard Divine Ugochukwu is out for the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury at Minnesota. Surgery next week. He hopes Ugochukwu is healthy again come spring, after the season.

This narrative that Julian Sayin is incapable of running the ball is nonsense. 🏈In 6 Games he had positive rushing yards 🏈Ran for key first downs against Michigan and Penn State 🏈Had -71 yards attributed to him due to sack yards from Indiana and Miami (a good chunk of that has to be placed on the OL and coaching staff for not replacing the RG sooner) 🏈Sayin was #32 out of 138 eligible QB this past season in Scrambles (undesigned runs by the QB) - So definitely room to improve on identifying open space and tucking and running. You don't always want your QB just leaving the pocket and running every chance they get, so it's good that he can move around and stay in the pocket but finding spots to run and move the chains is where he needs to improve this season. 🏈With the extreme slow-paced Ryan Day chose to run this year and the limited amount of pass plays they ran --in spite of have one of the best passing attacks in the nation--it was important to throw the ball down the field. One can argue, Julian extending plays in the pocket and trying to open receivers down the field was just as important. 🤷♂️Just playing devil's advocate. At the end of the day just making some observations: -Julian Sayin is not shy about running the ball. He just seemed more concerned about trying to get the ball to playmakers down the field with the limited opportunities they had during the season. -Julian did run the ball in big moments and has shown he's more than capable. See Michigan and Penn State games. -The negative yardage narrative came from Indiana (e.g. Tegra, OL break down in first half) and Miami (e.g. RG break down, offense out of sync inf first half not playing for 30 days). -At the end of the day he was still just a Redshirt-Freshman with Ryan Day breathing down his neck, and he is sure to have more trust going into next season. -Fully expect Julian Sayin to take all the constructive criticism in the offseason and get stronger, faster, smarter--cut his hair and become a Jesse Pinkman type villain--and do what is necessary to make the team better on offense. As always, just my worthless 0.02 of an opinion/assessment.

What are our thoughts on this?
