@sidneyl94828768 @NextGenPlayer Playstation does have their automatic regional pricing. If a third party does not adjust the price (which they can) they get the regional set price that is standard on PS. So it is a bit of both. Playstation standard is higher, publishers don't adjust.

Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc and it's yours forever. You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.

I believe this is directly related to their decision to going full digital. Sony Bank is own by @Sony and they are trying to create a digital stablecoin to use in the Playstation economy. This will be the next tool to FORCE you to be a member of their Premium PSPlus. We just saw this practice with Call of Duty 2 and 3. If you were a member, you got the game cheaper. Sure but Sony claiming they’ll sell “download codes at retail” doesn’t fix the problem. Under EU antitrust law they can order Sony to maintain real competition which in that way can actually require them to have physical games. Sony still controls the only real storefront and sets the terms which is exactly the kind of market foreclosure the EU can investigate under competition rules (as far as I understand). So this whole thing still can be looked at, they are not just cleared

Playstation will have to speak about the issues that the community is bringing up. If they continue with digital only, they have to address digital rights and other store fronts for Playstation moving forward.

Sony needs to reverse the physical disc phase out! Give the PS Community what they want. Give option to players!
