Last weekend, the Coquitlam Adanacs won the @TheMintoCup on their home floor. This is the first time since 2004 that teams from BC have won both of these championships in the same year. Next week, the Victoria Shamrocks will face the Six Nations Chiefs in a best-of-seven battle for the #MannCup. If the Shamrocks were to win the Mann, this would be the first time since 1977 that BC-based teams won the Jr. A, Sr. A, and Sr. B Canadian lacrosse championships. In 1977, the Vancouver Burrards won the Mann Cup, the Burnaby Cablevision won the Minto Cup, and the Vernon Tigers won the President's Cup.
