A political figure and Christian leader exploited an employee by luring them from another state with a job, then slashing their salary and later dismissing them without support. This individual's actions demonstrate a lack of empathy and a willingness to exploit others.

All these solar argument fam, nobody is telling you to not run up solar oo. Nigerians and missing the point as usual. Issue is when someone comes online to rant about not having light for days or hours and you’re telling them to “go and do solar”. Like say they’ve not considered the option? Or if they have the money they’d be online ranting. Also most people just want to rant out the frustration, keep your advice.

This comment section is honestly unsettling. Now I understand why people reduce hosting to “is it not just to talk?” Someone is even saying Omotola is not in a good mood, how is that the issue here? Can’t you hear how unprofessional the interviewer sounds? This is about ethics and preparation, not mood. Please, get professional standards. It can’t always be “I have a friend who can do it.”
YabaLeftOnline@yabaleftonline

Awkward moment during an interview as Omotola Jalade Ekeinde appears visibly annoyed after the interviewer asks, “Who am I here with?”

That’s not possible from the server side. Data stored in localStorage or IndexedDB lives only on the user’s device. Until they come online and it syncs, your server has absolutely no way to reach it or extract it. The only way to access it is directly from the browser on that same device. You can read it programmatically within your own app’s JavaScript but nobody outside that device can touch it until sync happens.

@satoshigrudge Yes it can be extracted but only if you stored it without encryption. So it’s always advisable to always encrypt data before saving it locally. Do you get now ?

Journalism is a profession and requires professionalism and you already identified him as unprofessional so the conversation ended there. She granted him access and he showed up unprepared and she is supposed to cuddle that? If a restaurant called you to come buy food and you walked in and they were unprofessional, you would leave and nobody would call that pride.

Nigeria is not the only country with celebrities. I hate this thing wey you people do like celebrities aren’t actual human beings like you and I. The Interviewer might not be a professional but what happened to basic manners? Nawa

A very clear indication that Nigerians are very emotional people...look at how y'all are spinning this p now This is Omotola we are talking about..She has standards..If you must interview her..you must come correct and be professional.. Mediocrity shouldn't be tolerated at all
Oluwatobi 🎀@_tobyblush

Agreed, the interviewer acted a bit unprofessional and unprepared, but Omotola needs to relax from this her “OG status” thingy. I’m sure the interview was to promote her movie, so she could have just moved with the flow. She can even respond with “Omotola Jalade, the producer of one of the hottest movies in cinemas right now”. Her mannerism reeks of arrogance. Make she dey calm down abeg.

@oluoftrades Theres this job that people have been looking down on but it pays above minimum wage and can give you enough time to do an online or side business but when people see it they think its rubbish.. I won't cast it but that job saved me when i had nothing.. it's very soft.

If I asked you to do something for yourself 6 hours everyday, that would make you N250k monthly, you would probably not do it. But if a company pays you N200k and uses you for 8 hours everyday, you’ll sit there for months and years diligently working. The problem here sometimes is self image. You cannot design a structure for yourself because you can only comprehend an already existing structure to survive. It’s all a mental game. Fix your self image
Olu of Trades 📈@oluoftrades

There is an issue ravaging the mind of a Typical Nigerian Most people don’t know how to react when they see soft life. It feels strange to them. It feels alien. Then, they subconsciously run away from it. Not immediately. Not instantly. But eventually, they ruin it. It is because we have been hard wired by our upbringing to see easy life as a scam and the only way to having things easy is to work hard and sweat through it. Typically, a Nigerian does not know what he truly deserves. That’s why we swallow a lot of nonsense. That even the bare minimum feels like luxury. It’s a mindset prison. Only you can take yourself out of it.
