@r00k @tuple Sound already happens I think. You just don’t know who it is. OS notification would be fine. I don’t care much about how, I (and others on my team) just want to know who. Although I wonder about a floating panel showing who’s in there at any time. 🤷

We're seeing a lot of Rooms usage growth on @tuple and want to double down on it. If you've used them, how can we make them better for you?

hey @saturnflyer - would you still use RadiantCMS? Would you still use radius tags? I was very fond of RadiantCMS many years back and used it fr a number of things... feeling nostalgic for its simplicity (and power)

Lot of idioms involing weeds: grow like a weed, weed out, pull up by the roots, etc. Used a lot. Thoughtlessly, I hereby claim. You don‘t *get weeds*, man, until you’ve knelt on your lawn & said to no one but the darkest corner of your soul: these fucks are everywhere

@dissolved they also only raised the price on those things. if you compare smile vs non-smile products, they're just more expensive. so they weren't doing anything but funneling our money, which we can do on our own

Amazon shutting down AmazonSmile because "the program has not grown to create the impact that we had originally hoped" is ridiculous. Imagine if they just did it on all purchases, instead of some arbitrary rule to go to a special URL to benefit a charity. SMH

I released the "polyfill-data" gem that defines the Ruby 3.2 Data class for earlier Ruby versions. github.com/saturnflyer/po… It still has a broken spec on redefining "initialize" but it should work for most regular use cases. PRs welcome!

I realized that Ruby's pattern matching was a good option for refactoring a method that needed some options passed that were either/or Updated and released 1.0.5 of my "expand" gem which allows you to create modules and classes under an existing namespace buff.ly/3OojevB

So far the process is: - parent: remove restrictions - kid: install game - parent: restore restrictions - kid: attempt to play game - kid: request approval - parent: approve game/grant exception This flow is horrendously and hilariously terrible

@XboxSupport how do I grant approval for my son to install a game that is above his content restrictions? The only “request access” prompt is -after- installation. only then can I approve and grant an exception
