In fact, @risechain's blockspace will be so redundant that we'll keep a constant base fee.
Dynamic base fee (as in EIP-1559) is bad for performance chains, as:
- When the base fee increases, transactions can get implicitly stuck without users knowing.
- It adds complexity and friction to transaction building (how much should I pay?) and the mempool (slow basefee subpool handling).
Tips should be sufficient for "inclusion racing".
Beyond speed and clickless transactions, we aim to make user-facing chain concepts as simple and predictable as possible!

On the contrary, monetizing via gas will be a thing of the past for new age chains. 'high throughput blockchains' are presenting a broken business model - wherein they are increasing the supply of blockspace by a 1000X, while continuing to accrue revenue based on 'scarcity of blockspace' HyperLiquid continues to accrue most of its revenue from HyperCore - and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. @risechain is doing a similar playbook - where the business model is less reliant on charging via gas, but more via vertical integrations like @RISEx_trade.
