Bots using real devices are a valid concern. It’s actually why we anchor trust in hardware, not software. A bot has many challenge to fake a biometric unlock on a real Apple device. On the “tracking” point: we don’t store any user data. What happens is a key exchange between our system and your device. From that point, you decide when to sign an action by unlocking with biometrics. Nothing is tracked without your explicit consent. Privacy isn’t a tradeoff here. It’s the actual mechanism.

@0xCRASHOUT one of the biggest improvements I've recently added to my workflow is using an agent orchestrator to manage the context and allow me to just focus on reviewing, while only writing small pieces of code when something is critical, which the AI then reviews later.

computer science is not hard anymore. the hard part is the amount of context and scope you have to manage when you are building. you can learn any subject quickly with ai now, but applying it a large codebase and making it production ready is the part i’m having trouble with. i feel like it’s an endless loop of fixing issues until it eventual reaches production ready.

REFUGIO MADRID wenas! viendo la gran acogida que tuvo la idea del hackathon por Madrid, he estado dándole una vuelta para bajar la pelota al suelo mi intención es clara: hacer un evento guay, sin muchas pretensiones pero con mucho nivel. el objetivo es poner en contacto a gente competente con ganas de hacer cosas quiero combatir el derrotismo que veo a veces en España y demostrar que "you can simply do things". Soy de los que cree que ver a otros construyendo te da el empujón y el coraje para lanzarte tú el plan que tengo en la cabeza es algo así (sujeto a cambios a medida que se vaya definiendo). habrá dos sesiones: - sesión 1 (mañana/mediodía): charlas técnicas y hackathon. aforo capado a 45 personas máximo (15 equipos de 3) - sesión 2 (tarde): ecosistema y networking. aforo ampliado para founders, inversores, curiosos y terminar con un cóctel/cervezas SESIÓN 1 (Aforo max 45 personas) ------------------------------------------ 1. CHARLAS (9:00 - 10:30) empezamos el día tranquilos. una introducción y me gustaría conseguir algún que otro invitado top para que nos cuenten cosas chulas. esta sesión tendrá una orientación un poco más técnica. probablemente daré yo también una pequeña charla e introduciré el hackathon. 2. EL HACKATHON (11:00 16:30) después de las charlas, a quemar tokens. la idea del hackathon no es que montéis el enésimo wrapper de la API de OpenAI o hacer un pitch de tu próxima start-up, para eso creo que ya hay otros hackathones me gustaría montar equipos de unas 3 personas que se van a enfrentar a un problema técnico difícil, fuera de su area de expertise. tendrán unas 5 horas para resolverlo ayudándose de herramientas de IA creo que es una buena forma de aprender a usar estas herramientas y conocer gente para el hackathon no busco solo devs que tengan 800 horas en el Claude Code, quiero perfiles técnicos diversos: físicos, biólogos, economistas, ingenieros... gente con capacidad analítica de todas las edades animo a las chavalitas a que se apunten, molaría que no fuera el típico evento de IT que parece un campo de nabos os aviso que habrá un pequeño proceso de selección para asegurar el nivel y montar equipos equilibrados SESIÓN 2 (Aforo según espacio) ------------------------------------------ 3. @Degen_hodL @elonmusk Watermarks aren’t the solution. They can be removed. What we need is stronger proof of origin, using cryptographic primitives to verify what was captured, how it changed, and where it came from over time.

Tonight I paid $15,000 tuition learning why we need privacy in blockchain. After ~6 years working in crypto, I thought of myself as a somewhat a veteran in the space. And yet I just got hit by an address poisoning attack while using the Uniswap wallet. The ironic part? I knew about this attack already. But it was late at night in Korea and I wasn’t 100% focused. Here’s what happened. I moved $15k USDC into my wallet and sent a $1 test transaction first. It went through successfully. A few minutes later I sent the remaining $15k. But attackers had already been sending tiny dust transactions to my wallet from addresses that looked almost identical to the one I was interacting with. In the wallet UI, addresses appear like “0xAAAAA…0000”, so visually they looked the same. My $1 test went to the real address. My $15k went to the poisoned one. Because Ethereum is fully transparent, attackers can monitor wallets and craft these traps. Two takeaways: • Never copy addresses from wallet history • Always verify the full address Even if you know the attack — one moment of low attention is enough. Just another day working in Crypto

Every recent Apple device already has the hardware to run this. Assuming we can verify the app is genuine and the device is trusted via App Attest and DeviceCheck, we can prove with hardware-backed cryptographic evidence who created any content, at the exact moment of creation.
