@merseyrail What was the disruption with the West Kirby line? No info on website, this or the app , just that the train was cancelled . And "minor dusruption" on the website. Another day late in work!

@joelwilliams_11 Hi Joel, there was initially a trackside inspection near Birkenhead Park due to reports of a fire. Then we have experienced a train fault at Conway Park. This train is now on the move and services are still running in both directions but may be delayed or altered. ^Claire

@merseyrail The app is now saying its a broken down train!! Which is it or is it both? I'm o the app, website and this , nothing is up to date!

@merseyrail Will you have replacement buses on standby tomorrow incase the same thing happens? I couldn't get into work today so have got to make a whole day up. I pay for an annual railpass too.

@merseyrail I got on a bus at Leasowe thinking it was going to Hamilton Square bus driver said he's going back to West Kirby and he's the only one running on this line so I've had to go to West Kirby to get to Hamilton Square!

🚍 Rail replacement bus services are now operating between West Kirby and Hamilton Square, and New Brighton and Hamilton Square.

@merseyrail Every day, more than once a day in the last week there has been faults on the West Kirby train, is it the same train? What have the faults been? There is never an explanation, just "due to a fault"
