I think one of the worst moments of the Warrior Cats fandom was when Spottedleaf’s Heart came out and certain creators refused to acknowledge it as canon because it made their fav a groomer. I have certain WC creators blocked for it to this day

I been talking about this i hard agree. It also disturbs me when people make AUs and they take away that part of Thistleclaw's character and Spottedleaf's backstory entirely — erasing canon victims of grooming bc it makes you uncomfortable leaves a nasty taste in my mouth
