thanks to the @berabaddies, baddies study crypto marketing my top takeaways from baddie campus session 0 with @sugabera: - too often marketing is mistaken as [insert trending activity] when it's actually a system - your brand's top 10-20 top users are some of your most precious assets if you know how to turn them into ambassadors. most businesses overlook this - building in public isn't a meme. in a fast-paced space like crypto, it helps build trust and keeps your brand top of mind other observations: baddie campus is currently in beta, so it's a real honour to have been invited to enrol as part of the first cohort it's mentor-driven, and everything, from the course structure to the campus portal, has been beautifully pulled together honestly, no notes @savebaddies @prekshac @nitashaberry @finelady_p @nonfungiblek can't wait to catch up and work my way through the syllabus nb: we may be early but this is not a course for lurkers - students are assigned in-depth weekly homework, to be reviewed by mentors. we'll be sharing our work here, so if you want to watch marketing baddies learn in public, follow along. bmarketing baddies & friends. more soon 😘

I was today years old when I found out: “Crypto users” is not a real target audience in Web3 marketing. Neither is “everyone.” 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁? 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀. Because as my mentor @sugabera says: "Even the best cat food ad in the world won't work on someone who doesn't own a cat." Marketing isn't just activity. It's a system. The goal is simple: Move the right people through the right journey. Awareness → Interest → Trust → Action → Retention → Advocacy Most Web3 projects skip this. And that's why their marketing feels like noise. Quick question: If you're building in Web3 right now… Who exactly are you trying to reach???
