5 years ago, Save Rez Dogs started advocating for Rez Dogs officially on Facebook. The main focus has always been about helping dogs in need and supporting on-reserve owners, but over the years SRD has also worked to correct discourse surrounding FN animal welfare. #saverezdogs

We all have an obligation to take care of our dogs. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for their protection and sacrifices in the face of oppression and starvation. We owe it to our ancestors and young people, to better the legacy of how we treated our dogs. 🤎🐾🐶 #saverezdogs
