Some projects get expensive fast because of quick hype and greed. Others matter because they changed the culture, the art, or the technology - and the market doesn’t always price that in right away. - CryptoPunks helped define the modern NFT/PFP era. - Rare Pepes were one of the earliest blockchain-native collectible art scenes. - Autoglyphs are widely recognized as the first fully on-chain generative art project on Ethereum. That’s why I try not to look only at price, volume, or hype. What interests me more is the gap between what the market values today and what will still matter years from now.

Most people know shit about finances ex: friends topblasting tech stock. Goes up ~20 % first, then down ~30% under entry. Now they are worried and some already sold ínstead of buying more. if they had bought the dip with, they could exit at break even today. many such cases.

as the creator of Sign in with Ethereum, I can tell you what happened: woke fraudsters killed it in 2022, the ethereum community let it happen, but I'm trying to fix it anyway back in 2021 I was leading @ensdomains (crypto usernames and profiles) and proposed the idea for a Sign in with Ethereum EIP standard (crypto auth to complement ENS). I was busy leading ENS, so i selected another company to run with Sign in with Ethereum, and they got some grants from the Ethereum Foundation and ENS DAO to do it then a woke mob (made up mostly of non-cryoto ppl) came after me in early 2022 for being Catholic, I wouldn't fake apologize and my boss at ENS initially said he would back me but then suddenly panicked and quickly fired me appease the mob. since then ENS has been rudderless and muddling along without vision or urgency a few months later I thought I'd get back involved with my old project Sign in with Ethereum, but the team there informed I had been cancelled there as well for making ppl feel unsafe by my virtual presence then, despite all the funding they had gotten for it, they *abandoned the project without even finalizing the EIP standard*, let alone actually promoting it etc. I confronted them about this a year ago, and asked if I could at least have the assets (website, twitter, github etc) so I could just take it over from there for free, but they refused. then they ghosted and did nothing so a few months ago my little company @ethidorg with a small amount of funding from the @ensdao for other projects decided to just assume responsibility for it. we forked the github, created a new website on a new domain from scratch, twitter @signinethereum, etc, and for the first time in years have started developing it again, promoting it, getting new integrations it actually has more adoption in the crypto space than ppl might think, but it has enormous amounts of potential and it's going to take a lot of work to get there

What happened to web3? All of auth should have been replaced by now…
