@yajnadevam Sir you should consider delivering short course on @brhat_in. A lot will benefit.

@homam108 Sir, I understand the argument here that puranic stories are reflected and can be interpreted in the microcosm.
Is it possible though that actual events happening/ that happened in different planes influence the subtle & causal body and gives rise to this interpretation?

Best wishes for Dhana Trayodasi (Dhan Teras), aka Dhanvantari Jayanti. It's the day when churning of milky ocean by gods & demons gave rise to various gems & Dhanvantari (Vishnu's incarnation, god of Ayurveda, health & longevity).
It's a great day to perform Dhanvantari homa or Lakshmi homa, for health or wealth. Manuals are at
vedicastrologer.org/homa/download.…. This is also a great day to donate money or medicines to the needy.

@AlejandroPiad @thegautamkamath If that’s the case, wouldn’t it make it easier to stay updated?
Read the introduction paper and highly cited paper(s).
I feel the true downside is *idea-incest*.. “many can’t go far standing on the shoulders”..

@thegautamkamath Frankly, the amount of trivial literature in ML is growing at a pace that makes it impossible to stay up to date beyond very niche areas, IMO.

Frank Ramsey (famed mathematician for Ramsey theory, among other things) on "rapid publication" of papers every six months.
I wonder what this implies about the current state of machine learning?🤔

@shortstein @thegautamkamath There’s usually more constructive dialogue between the authors and reviewers in case of journals.
Conferences are about improving solutions more often. This isn’t a criticism, it’s just becoming harder to find exciting problems, only exciting solutions.
