@ubah_484 @marcportermagee @johnoladokuno It's a bad thing. These are japa hustlers using the school route. a good stat will be an achievement stat in actual productive endeavour. And these aren't the smart Nigerians for your information. The smart ones are here building home.

Never forget there were United fans all over this app kicking and screaming at some of us who wanted to bite Napoli’s hand off for £45-50 million in January 2025. “World class talent” apparently. Crap players who get romanticised purely because of their academy badge.

What an embarrassment. Garnacho couldn't get past an assistant coach, and somehow the guy who pushed for this 40m signing, Paul Winstanley, is still sitting comfortably with job security and bonuses. 🖕

You can say Amorim is the worst coach in history and that’s okay cos it’s the fact. You can say he finished 15th, 31% win rate , gave spurs a trophy and all the nonsense agendas , we will take it. You can say he wasn’t winning enough and that’s okay.👍 What won’t be taken is to throw a dig or lie about how we played on the pitch with him, that wouldn’t go unchecked. There is a big difference between performance and results. A certain Burnley side managed by Kompany gave good performances on the pitch but were loosing week in week out. That is it , they are distinct. A team can be playing well and be loosing , that is what happened many a times last season. You could all help yourselves travel back into last season, every game we won drew or lost especially in the league 80% of them we had the most possession, the most shots but ended up dropping points or losing. Same as this season . And what we are seeing now is an interim doing the job of an interim by grinding out results irrespective of the performance which is going good and allowed. People are saying performances are awful , our eyes are not damaged , we can see it but still do acknowledge the work done to get results. So if you want to talk about results then do so , but we do not want to hear “we are playing better football than before” , which is a lie.

As entertaining as Atleti/Barca & Bayern/Madrid were, the people claiming they want this in the EPL are liars. Go back and read their comments & critique of Manchester United during the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth as an example. Very little about an entertaining game that gave fans joy, the beautiful goals, counter attacks and bangers scores, the reviews were all about defensive mistakes, losing the ball on the transition and lack of ability to see the game through. When EPL teams do this our tribalism labels it as “chaotic” & “unsustainable” and even more pejoratives lashed out if fans happen to dislike the coach in charge. And journalists/pundits will focus almost exclusively on the defensive issues. I am unsure of the motive, maybe it’s just “Elon coin” because lacking off the EPL is worth money or but I find it utterly duplicitous.

@Polymath_16 Not last season for sure. Last season we were genuinely bad, regardless of who the coach was. People seem to forget the circumstances that led us to 15th.

Still better than 15th on the log, there are no excuses for that.
Stephen@saxxone

@Polymath_16 Nope. The GK and the attack were abysmal. The entire squad was very unfit as well.

Regardless, the squad was better than 15rh finish but that aside , he wasn't sacked cos of the results however bad they were, he was supported fully even after so many noises of sack from all quarters. He got tired and frustrated and wanted out hence he had to cry in pressers and abused his bosses, he seemingly engineered his sack.
MICHEAL💫@YB_micheal

@Polymath_16 No one would prefer 15th but at least he deserved his first full season before we judge him. He met a terrible squad that he had to manage. He didn’t make big promises, he told us the truth, carried all along and he said the good days are coming, he only need time

@saxxone They didn't sit for all the time. But, for the moments they retreated, MNU pbs were clear to the eyes.

This Manchester United game highlighted all the deficiencies: —How MNU are incapable of finding solutions vs low blocks, outside early crosses, or balls over the top; —Carrick's OOP approach, esp the high press; —The losing game state problem; —Most importantly, the profiles MNU need to target, which I think has to be a big overhaul summer (LB, Technical wingers (left & right) who balance these runners, midfielders);
