Disappointed @GreyGoose changed the @usopen #honeydeuce cocktail this year. What was a delicious simple vodka, lemonade, & Chambord on the rocks is now a premix of vodka & overpowering citric acid, w/less Chambord. Now an undrinkable dive bar $3 special, but still priced at $20+.

I just got back from my run, got a good view of the fire zone from the Bayview Ave bridge. - Paper recycling building still standing. - Water everywhere. - Primarily a brush fire. - Amazing how little property damage from such a widespread blaze. - Light rail shed unscathed.

Here’s that huge Jersey City fire on Caven Point Ave, as seen from the Garfield Ave light rail station. Fire moved NE through brush toward the light rail shed.
