@RobotHimejoshi I couldn't disagree more with the explorable city part. This is exactly what makes persona unique the half school life half dungeon crawling balance. so If I'm not actually going to school or the train station and it's just a bunch of menus instead that balance completely dies.

kinda unrelated but my hot take is that the visual novel style in portable isn't really as big of a downside as a lot of people make it out to be, and imo a fully explorable 3D city or whatever really isn't all that important to the overall persona experience
