We are delighted to announce that Dr. Shaheen Nazir has kindly agreed to become the new Chair of the Department of Mathematics, for four years from 1st January 2026, succeeding Dr. Imran Anwar.

Dr. Mudassir Shabbir joins SBASSE as an Associate Professor in the CS department at LUMS, specializing in algorithms, graph theory, and the theoretical foundations of machine learning and control networks.
