Alright, a couple of looks at the "hold" last Saturday from some new perspectives. I don't think you can say that this hold was inconsequential as Retzlaff is looking there for his first read. I also think it was more of a hold than I had originally thought. BS call when I first saw it, now when I watch it, it looks like a pretty legit hold. I actually think it took some 🧅🧅to actually make that call at #Utah on the #Ute sideline during the #HolyWar.

This is the best video I've seen of the holding call. This is definitely MORE than a typical hands battle off the line and the Ute defender was going to get beat. This was shot by my cousin who was at the game.

It’s a foul. It’s always been a foul and it will always be a foul regardless of game, time, score, or situation. The embarrassing and shameless on-field actions and press conference rant of the Utah AD should result in severe consequences. His behavior was despicable.

This is very personal and difficult to post. Last month I had a hemorrhagic stroke. A recent MRI has shown 2 growths in my brain. I will be meeting with a neurosurgeon this week and I will be having brain surgery in the coming weeks and will begin a treatment plan. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm scared, but I'm also up for this fight. I love covering Utah High School Sports. It's been an honor since 2005 to be one of the voices of the State. I am going to work to be back for football season. Please don't hesitate to reach out. All positive messages are welcome.

This kid has been a blast to watch at Payson the past few years. He is the greatest WR in the history of Payson and one of the best receivers statistically the state has ever had. He has the size, speed, and smarts to make excel at the next level. Happy for him.
