Here’s another tale of the local ‘Travellers’ in my town Guy ran a sports shop in the high street Travellers came in and bought a few hundred quids worth of gear off him, told him they sell it for profit in Ireland Did the same a couple of weeks later for a bigger amount. Then they asked if could get a good few grands worth of stuff for them? He agreed. When they came to pick it up and had loaded it into the van, they suddenly got an ‘emergency call’ about a relative who’d been taken to hospital Of course, they had to rush off quickly, promising to return later with the cash.. A classic long con. The guy never recovered financially and had to close down shortly after Scum.

You don’t need to ask are they travelers, just ask for I.D as none of them have I.D and tell them it’s card payments only.

Pub near ours let gypsies in the other week, refused to leave at closing time, crashed a wedding in the back, broke the brides nose, the groom lost his eye and the best man was in intensive care, that’s why people don’t let travellers in…
