Joanna Dennehy.
A British woman who committed a series of murders in 2013. Dennehy killed three men in a spree that spanned a 10-day period. She was sentenced to life in prison for these crimes, making her one of the most recent female serial killers to gain notoriety.
Rosemary West.
Along with her husband Fred West, she committed a series of murders in Gloucestershire, England, during the 1970s and 1980s. Their victims included young women, including their own daughter, whom they subjected to sexual abuse and torture.
Karla Homolka.
Alongside her husband Paul Bernardo, she was responsible for the rapes and murders of at least three young women in Canada during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Homolka was convicted of manslaughter as part of a plea bargain and served a 12-year prison sentence.
