⚠️⚠️ SICKENING LENIENCY ⚠️⚠️ A vulnerable woman with Alzheimer’s waved down a stranger - 61YO Adrian Long - in Ipswich after becoming confused and lost. She didn’t know where she was or even her own address. Long looked through her bag, found her details, and drove her home. But instead of helping her safely and leaving, he followed her into her property and sexually assaulted her. A family member later saw him entering the home on doorbell footage. Despite her obvious confusion and vulnerability, Long claimed he didn’t realise she lacked the capacity to consent. The court heard his actions caused a rapid deterioration in the victim’s health, while leaving her already heartbroken family devastated that someone could exploit her in such a cruel and calculated way. ➡️Anyone who has witnessed Alzheimer’s firsthand knows just how vulnerable sufferers become as the illness progresses - moving through devastating stages of confusion, memory loss and dependency before 24-hour care or residential placement is ever considered or becomes unavoidable. Families are forced to tread a difficult line between respecting a loved one’s independence and keeping constant watch over them, relying on the public to help vulnerable people safely - not prey on them for their own sick gratification. What Long did was unconscionable. Yet he WALKED FREE. 😫 He received just 8 months suspended for 20 months and 40 "rehab" days. One vulnerable woman. One devastated family. One disgusting offender. And one disgracefully weak so-called sentence. A "justice" system that allows society’s most vulnerable people to be exploited and sexually assaulted with barely any real consequence has no right to call itself justice at all. Sickening. Heartbreaking. Infuriating. Vulnerable people in the UK being failed in the worst possible way. 💔🤬

Look at Narges Mohammadi’s children. Their mother spent most of their lives in prison and now, the regime is slowly killing her. In the 21st century, the people with guns fear a woman with words. Iranian Nobel Peace Prize laureate is in a life-threatening crisis inside Evin Prison. Her blood pressure has plummeted to 9 over 4, a level dangerously incompatible with life. She is unable to speak. Doctors are administering emergency medication to keep her alive, but her condition remains critically unstable and requires urgent, definitive medical intervention. I call on every world leader, every human rights body, every Nobel committee, and every government that has ever spoken the word "democracy", act now, not after her funeral. Demand the regime that waging open war on unarmed women and men to free Narges Mohammadi before it is too late.

The Iranian regime wants to kill Narges Mohammadi because they are afraid of the voice of opposition from inside the country. She is a a Nobel Peace Prize winner, a symbol of courage and peace. But the regime targeting her is the very opposite: one of the greatest enemies of peace. For years, from inside Evin Prison, she has exposed the regime’s abuse of women and political prisoners. They could not silence her words, so now they are trying to break her body. What we are witnessing is is a deliberate strategy. Denying her urgent medical care is a slow execution designed to eliminate one of the powerful voices of resistance inside Iran. If anything happens to Narges, the responsibility lies directly with the Islamic Republic. The world knows her name. The world knows what is happening. Now the world must act. Transfer her to independent doctors immediately. Release her unconditionally. Because when you stay silent, you stand with the jailer, not the prisoner.

This woman lying here so peacefully is named Aida Aghili. But her story has shaken millions of Iranians. During the January 2026 uprising, the Islamic Republic killed so many people that hospitals ran out of space for the dead. Bodies were piled in hospital courtyards, and families were told to walk among the corpses to find their loved ones. Aida was 34 years old and was killed in Tehran. Imagine a government murdering its own people in such numbers that mothers and fathers had to search through rows of bodies just to identify their children. Aida became one face among thousands slaughtered by the mullahs but behind every body was a life, a family, a future stolen. The media must not bury the stories of these people beneath headlines and politics. 💔

I've spent a good deal of time in recent weeks working on this report, and am delighted it's now out. Its main finding is that more than a year later, financial institutions are failing to comply with the Supreme Court judgment in For Women Scotland. 1/6 sex-matters.org/posts/updates/…

Political opposition to Regulation 4 of The School Premises (England) Regulations 2012, the Work Place Regs, the Equality Act and the @ForWomenScot judgment has no place in schools. It is unlawful. The DfE response to the breaching of the Education Act by Pearson's revision materials for the Citizenship GCSE is supine. When are you going to get a grip on the wide spread breaches by schools using materials that promote obstructing the provision of & single-sex toilets for school children, and adults in the work place and elsewhere, and oppose freedom speech by telling children not to offend people with different opinions, @educationgovuk, @Ofstednews and @bphillipsonMP? @WomensRightsNet @legalfeminist @SafeSchools_UK @PaulEmbery @TransgendertrdP @SexMattersOrg @amanda_spielman @EDP24 @norwich_s

A personal observation from my time working (23yrs) in a school 🇮🇪 During supervision duty on corridors before start of classes, during break times & end of school day, one of the regular jobs was moving groups of boys away from near or outside the girls’ toilets. They’d hang around there & target the girls coming out with some really vile, nasty comments. It wasn’t every boy or every day & plenty of teenagers never went near this kind of behaviour, but it happened often enough that it became part of the routine. What struck me most was how schools show a side of teenage life that parents rarely see, a boy who was perfectly decent on his own could completely change when he was with his mates. In the group, some of them switched into this laddish mode where the ‘fun’ was making crude remarks about girls, scoring points with each other by being as obnoxious as possible. It was all about getting laughs & kudos from the pack. I’m pretty sure most parents have no idea this goes on, they see their son at home & assume that’s how he acts everywhere. At the same time, they often don’t realise what their daughters are dealing with every single school day, the comments, the waiting around, the feeling of being targeted just for walking down a corridor or using the toilet. It’s a reminder that the group dynamic in secondary school can bring out behaviours that would never happen in isolation & a lot of it stays hidden from home. Keeping separate toilets for boys & girls is a basic, common-sense safeguard that protects girls, the group that suffers most when toilets are biologically mixed.

@BirdyBooky @sheawilliamsy @ramendik Generally bullying, vaping, avoiding class etc. in toilets is a reason to do something like this. Why is it an issue? What are they doing in their toilets that they need the privacy of two doors?

These are the toilets in Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School. Fully open to the corridor and with male and female symbols on every single door. The school has, helpfully, laminate a couple of pieces of paper with arrows written on them saying ‘Male’ and ‘Female’. The only sinks are in the middle of the floor with no wall between them. I suppose the laminated signs are the school’s attempt at a compromise as there was uproar from the students a couple of months ago when plans revealed that every single toilet block and cubicle is mixed sex. Only people who are completely oblivious to the needs and desires of teenage girls especially, for privacy and dignity would make teenage girls share toilet facilities with teenage boys like this. It’s either ignorance or something more sinister - a complete disregard for the rights of half of the population. Educate Together my arse. What about girls and boys from countries, cultures and religious backgrounds for whom these shared facilities will be entirely unacceptable? They will self-exclude from schools like this. Everywhere where mixed sex facilities have been imposed on teenagers like this, girls have ended up physically ill because they will stop drinking water during the day because they won’t use these facilities. @hcetss @Education_Ire @1Hildegarde Why have exclusionary toilet facilities been adopted in this publicly funded school?

@LeeMcClymont @BirdyBooky @sheawilliamsy @ramendik Well, there’s these things called periods that only girls have and they can frequently leave your hands & underwear stained with blood which need to be washed in the sink. But you’re a bloke, that’s why you don’t have a clue. Mortifying for a girl with boys around.

⚠️A report warns that the sexual exploitation of British children is rising sharply, with the number of British girls rising by 50% in the last five years. And these are just the ones we know about. What has happened in the last 5 years? What is causing this exponential rise?

All these three Iranians have been hanged today. This is a campaign of terror and the world is watching like it’s just another Netflix series, waiting to see how many episodes it takes before anyone actually does something. The Islamic Republic has executed three more men, Ebrahim Dolatabadi, Mehdi Rasouli, and Mohammadreza Miri. After gunning down tens of thousands of protesters in the streets, the regime is now systematically executing those it once detained.

Myth: "I only wear vegan fabrics. Better for the animals, better for the planet." Let's check in on Doris's annual contribution. Once a year, in late spring, Doris is sheared. The procedure takes approximately three minutes. Doris does not enjoy it. Doris does not, by any visible measure, suffer from it. Doris is, immediately afterwards, a noticeably more comfortable animal in the British summer. The fleece weighs approximately 3 kilograms. It is sold to the British Wool Marketing Board for, depending on the year, between £0.40 and £2.50 per kilogram. The shearing costs more than the wool fetches. Brian is shearing Doris at a loss. The wool is then: - Naturally flame-retardant - Naturally antibacterial - Moisture-wicking - Biodegradable - Renewable, annually - Carbon-storing while in use The replacement, in performance fabrics: - Polyester - Polyamide - Acrylic - Polypropylene - All petroleum-derived - All shedding microplastics on every wash - All requiring fossil fuel inputs to produce - All non-biodegradable, with a typical landfill lifespan of 200-500 years A single wash of a polyester fleece can release up to 700,000 microplastic fibres into the water system. These fibres are now in: every tested water source on earth, every tested human placenta, every tested rainfall sample, the deep ocean, the Arctic ice, and the lungs of marine mammals. A single wash of a wool jumper releases: nothing. The wool, when eventually disposed of, returns to soil within a few years. The fabric being marketed as the "ethical" alternative to wool is plastic. The plastic is "ethical" because nobody has been asked to slaughter the polymer. The polymer also has not been asked. Doris, by being a sheep on a fell, is producing the most thoroughly sustainable performance fabric humans have ever made. Brian is selling it at a loss. The fashion industry, meanwhile, is selling petroleum at a profit and calling it ethical. Reject plastic. Wear wool. Doris is, this morning, growing next year's batch.
