St. Clair County Schools

On Tuesday March 17, 2026 St Clair County schools will resume their normal schedule. Schools will be open and buses will run at their normal times. Have a safe night.

Due to the expected temperature drop and the threat of ice and snow on the roads, we will be dismissing school at 1 PM, and all afternoon activities scheduled for today will be cancelled. We will continue to monitor the weather for tomorrow and will make a determination later.

SCCS will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow, 1/27. We will take extra time at each bus stop to allow students to remain inside and warm. Please remind students to dress appropriately for the cold weather. As always the safety of our students and faculty is most important.

Due to the threat of freezing temperatures overnight and dangerous road conditions, SCCS will be closed tomorrow, January 26th. As always, the safety of our students and faculty is our top priority. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the conditions for Tuesday.

St. Clair County Schools are closed today, March 31, 2025, due to the threat of severe weather and uncertain travel conditions. As always, the safety of our students and staff are most important. Please stay safe.

Based on updates from the SCC EMA and the NWS, St. Clair County Schools will operate on a 3 hour delay on Monday, March 31st. This decision has been made to prioritize the safety of students and staff, avoiding travel in potentially hazardous conditions.
