1. This week @FTC took action against Invitation Homes for advertising lower rents only to then saddle tenants with hundreds of dollars in junk fees. The firm also unjustly withheld people's security deposits and unfairly exposed tenants to evictions. ftc.gov/news-events/ne…

The reality is that we're living at the end of a catastrophic experiment in deregulation and its handmaidens, corruption and regulatory capture, and there are lots of "normal" things that we just need to stop doing. Not do less of them - just *stop*. 21/

1. As @POTUS notes, @FTC's proposal would require that firms make it as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up. Too often people have to jump through endless hoops—or end up stuck paying for services they don't want. Our rule would end this tax on your time & money.

Yes! Transgender people are my precious family and I love them with the bottom of my heart. Transgender people are less accepted in Japan than in the US, and people may look strange when they declare their identity, but I don't mind. It's a small thing like people saying bad things about Chiitan, so it's not an issue. It's far more important that transgender people all over the world "are able to enjoy life peacefully, being themselves, as a matter of course." I will continue to send out messages to protect the rights of transgender people. Please lend your support to Chiitan. Your voices give me energy. I love you all. Please continue to be by my side.

@miniapeur i realized at the beginning of my senior year for my math degree that i had no job skills, so taught my self Linux in lieu of focusing on my coursework. Thank god i did, have a pretty solid career today because of it
