Great to catch up with the PI and fellow Co-Is within the @SolvingFCB West Africa Case Study Team (solvingfcb.org/case-studies/g…) funded by the @SSHRC_CRSH. It was exciting to listen to the progress of the #Ghana team and cross-fertilise collaborative ideas with the #Nigeria team.

I was invited by @The_ACU to plan the Commonwealth Futures Climate Research Cohort (2023-2024) Closing Events hosted by the @UnilagNigeria. The Welcome Cocktails had 15 Fellows, the Funder @BritishCouncil rep by Donna McGowan and @danielemenahor welcomed by @UnilagNigeria Mgt.

There were no easy answers, but there was #progress. A consensus emerged: the #community must lead, the #LCDA must support, and everyone must act. This #project is led by @SogbanmuTo and funded by the @The_ACU in collaboration with @UnilagNigeria and @barigalcda. #SDG6 #SDG11

At the second #Stakeholders' Meeting of the ACU-UNILAG #Water Security Project, held at #Ilaje, the energy in the room was charged with concern and commitment. It was a forum where all #stakeholders spoke openly and passionately about the realities of #wateraccess in #Ilaje.

This project is funded by the @SSHRC_CRSH, implemented by @UnilagNigeria led by @SogbanmuTo Sola Ogunfeitimi and Esther Akilo within the #SolvingFCB Project West Africa Case Study (solvingfcb.org/case-studies/g…) in partnership with the Principal Investigators at @UBCoceans, @UBC.
