@el_d0ge and not everyone can get the chance to have a listen beforehand :). many openers use this chance to gain followers — playing a cover is proven to be a great strategy to start trying to achieve that :)

@el_d0ge hey so i do actually attend a lot of gigs many of them local !! meaning a lot of the supports i see may only have one or even no singles out !! many ‘bigger’ concerts to this day the headliners aren’t even announcing the openers until a few days before the show
