Just got done with my surgery. Grok might have even saved my life. My dentist saw that my crown failed and it needed to be extracted with a possible infection. I asked for the X-ray so I could upload it to Grok. Grok told me the infection was real bad and needed to get taken care of as quickly as possible with an extraction and implant. I scheduled the procedure for today. What was supposed to be a 1-hour procedure turned into a 6-hour procedure. It was supposed to be a routine tooth extraction with bone graft for an implant. The tooth with the failed crown on it had completely fused to the bone. The roots were stuck. After 3 1/2 hours of no luck, I had to drive myself to an oral specialist for an emergency procedure. The oral specialist was also struggling. He told me, "What are your bones made of?! They are unbelievably strong and unusually thick." I replied it's from all the weightlifting, nutrition, calcium, and Wolff's Law. I intentionally try to make my bones stronger with heavy lifting. When it comes to my jawbone, I would intentionally eat tough foods to strengthen the bone. I saw studies showing that people who ate lots of soft, highly processed foods ended up with weaker jaws and other oral problems. I didn't realize that I would have overdone it and made life difficult for my dentist. Eventually he got the roots out, but there was also a horrible infection that he had to clean out. Had I not used Grok and waited, I would have had a horrific case of sepsis soon. The entire time during my procedure as the dentist and specialist were taking X-rays, I would ask them if I could take a photo and follow along better with Grok. Grok was explaining everything in amazing detail, helping to keep me calm that there were no more complications that might have been missed. I finally finished the procedure with gauze in my mouth, sitting at home, but before I left, I asked for one more X-ray. I uploaded the X-ray to Grok, and Grok told me the procedure went perfectly. What a relief! I will always consult with Grok for anything medical, as Grok likely saved my life.
