@ScharoBajalan Can we please (!) Get a translation in English of this? Western politicians can't read this as you know of course.

That Syria is in the hands of a handful of powerful families was *seperatist propaganda* when I as a Kurd said it - now Karam Shaar and other Jolani fanatics are saying it and it’s a big revelation. The window of opportunity to change this status quo has been closed however. Syria will never be able to strip these families of their political and economic power - they will leech off of public funds and purge anyone who dares to criticise it. Syria has become a far worse version of Iraq.

@ScharoBajalan This graph shows that the syrian government controls borders, tarrifs, the military, trade, and government institutes. Are they not supposed to do it?

There’s much more to it as well - these families are only the tip of the iceberg. As I said, the awakening is bitter.

The explosions reported in Bandar Abbas (Iran) are almost certainly unexploded ordinance.

This is new Syria - Where Syrian Government Forces are hunting down and beating civilians who ridicule Jolani. Pragmatic and democratic future ahead.

@ScharoBajalan I think you mean 'inevitably', as there's nothing inadvertent about Al Qaeda in Syria dragging the country further into the abyss

If you are not in the loop. No *Journalist/Activist* is living off a 800 words opinion article that gets published every 3 months in some dying legacy media outlet. Especially not when the majority of such articles are just buzzwords with no new/valuable information. They live off NGOs - the majority of these NGOs are state funded. You get invited to an event for 120 minutes, present a simple PowerPoint and then you do a Q&A and you go home with a check that’s at least 1000€ This is not a big conspiracy thing - it’s something that anyone in this sphere can tell you about. Syria is a major cash cow and continues to be it - for many of these people, as soon as it was clear that Jolani has been publicly accepted by the west - they knew that it was no longer a majority opinion to side with the Kurds/SDF and instead they moved to embrace the *Pragmatic Jolani* They made a strategic decision; not out of personal beliefs but monetary gains.

It is however unfortunate that the Kurdish parties are yet again meeting Baghdad from a position of weakness. We have again missed the opportunity to properly build up the institutions and consolidate power - despite the central government in Baghdad having gone through a major and prolonged phase of weakness. Essentially the result of politics that lack strategic planning; further weakened by nepotism and internal power struggles+rivalries.
MP Sarkawt Shams::النائب سەرکەوت شمس الدين@MPSarkawtShams

I think the Kurdish parties leaders going to Baghdad regularly and meeting everyone is a good thing and it is encouraging to see the ideas we pushed for many years ago is now a regular occurrence.

As soon as Trump and the regime in Iran sign a deal - Iran will further increase its pressure against the KRG and the opposition parties from Rojhelat. Unfortunate times stand before us. For Iran, the Kurdish opposition parties are significant threats - currently the only threat that could harm the regime from within. Iran success in thwarting an attack from the outside will embolden them to try and deal with the internal threats.

The Emoji captures it far better than any of my words could. Trump has agreed to a ceasefire deal that leaves Iran in a far stronger position than it was before the war. An Iran which has successfully resisted the USA as the first country to do so.

Purely from what we can observe - outside of the political sphere (the negotiations) - it looks like a renewed military confrontation between Iran and the USA is close. Jamming in the UAE and the Qatar x Pakistan delegations leaving Teheran may be an indication that a confrontation is imminent.

DEM Partie should act wise and stay away from all of this. For the Kurdish people nothing will change regardless if the CHP or AKP is in power nor will it change anything for the position of the DEM - matter of fact, the DEM could play it opportunistically and side with the AKP to get political concessions from Erdogan; at most they will successfully get concessions and at worst the current status quo will prevail. Golden line would be to stay neutral and strengthen the Kurdish position via their power base - strengthen the DEM which subsequently weakens both the CHP and AKP
