sometimes i wonder who i couldve been if i wasnt always healing from things i never chose. feels like i spent my life surviving, not living… picking up pieces that werent even mine. and what hurts the most isnt what happened, its everything i missed figuring it out.

i found my old journal when i was with my therapist, she told me; “sometimes when u grow up feeling unseen, u dont learn how to ask for love, u learn to give more of it instead. u show up for everyone, often hoping someone will one day show up for u in the same way.”
