Innscor has taken a significant stake in Tanganda after backing its US$8M rights issue.
Under the rights issue, Tanganda sought to raise capital by inviting shareholders to buy new shares to fund the business.
Innscor’s unit Rutanhi, was the underwriter, committing to buy any shares that other investors would not take up. Rutanhi took up 54% of those new shares on offer, translating to a 27% stake in Tanganda.
Innscor says the deal will “add considerable value to the Tanganda entity, and Tanganda shareholders, whilst also contributing to the continued development of Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector, and ensuring the long-term preservation, and sustainable growth, of one of Zimbabwe’s most iconic brands.“

The war in Iran has nothing to do with the NATO defence alliance, says a German government spokesperson, adding that Germany would not take part in the war nor in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open through military means.

Idziwo idzi. He is building shopping malls and massive mansions in a depressed market where the retail sector itself is collapsing. Yet now he says he is courting South African retailers, and in SA, Shoprite, has just announced today its exit from Nigeria and is also leaving Mozambique amongst many African markets it has withdrawn. Which retail investor will look into an economy that is tuckshopising?
When we tell you kuti the Zimbabwean property market has now become a depressed hedging sanctuary, we truly mean it. People are not investing because of depressed real demand or economic expansion; they are simply parking capital in property as a hedge. And the quality of tenants is of the very low-end in terms income, which in turn translates poor rental yields.

🚨Hear me out on this, there’s a scenario that honestly makes a lot of sense for Manchester United — bringing back David De Gea to be our second goalkeeper.
He’s currently in a relegation battle with Fiorentina, and if they were to go down it’s very hard to see him staying there, and also his contract ends in June 2026.
He’s a legend of Manchester United, someone who knows the pressure, the expectations, and what it truly means to wear that badge.
More importantly, it would be perfect for the development of Senne Lammens. Having a young goalkeeper learning from someone like De Gea every single day in training could be invaluable. Experience like that is something you simply can’t buy.
De Gea could provide depth, leadership in the dressing room, and guidance for Senne Lammens — while still being more than capable of stepping in when needed.
Andre Onana & Altay Bayındır are expected to be sold, while Radek Vítek is talented but i still think he needs one or two seasons on loan to get ready to fight on being Manchester United first team keeper.
And on top of that, it would finally give De Gea the chance to say a proper goodbye as a legend of the club, after the embarrassing way he was treated under Erik ten Hag when he wasn’t even offered a new contract.
