🚨NEWS: Berlin Raceway officials announced today that former NASCAR star Ryan Newman and his daughter, Brooklyn Newman, will be racing together on May 16th in the Michigan Modified Series opener here at the Berlin Raceway! At just 15 years old, Brooklyn Newman is already making waves in the world of racing. Currently, Brooklyn competes in Outlaw Dirt, Winged Micro, and 602 Modified classes with a kind of grit, focus, and determination that are well beyond her years. For Ryan, he will make his Berlin Raceway return following a 3rd place finish with SRX, when the series competed at the track in August of 2023. Ryan Newman, an 18-time Cup Series winner and Daytona 500 champion, will join Brooklyn in the 50-lap Modified feature event. The pair will be driving Burkett Nester racecars. The Michigan Modified Series will headline the May 16 event at the track that will also include the Limited Late Models, The National Compact Series and the Good Humor Mini Wedges. @jeff_gluck It's a Cup car. Period. I have yet to find a quote by David Pearson referring to his Gen whatever car.

I'm happy to call it Gen 7 if everyone else does, but everyone in the garage still says Next Gen. It's sort of like the Car of Tomorrow...even now, people call it the COT and that was two cars ago.

2 years ago today, wife showed me 6 positive pregnancy tests with faint 2nd lines. I took a test myself & said “those are just false. I bet you can’t tell which test is mine.” She could. In like .3 seconds. 2 years later, those faint lines are spitting apple juice on the floor.
