What a special player. To be that talented and that athletic is one thing, but tonight we saw the warrior inside of him fully exposed. That's a man who loves competing.

For me it was more problematic how Zverev acted in set 1 and 2 complaining about his raquet and a negative attitude. Lost energy there. Ofc nobody talks about this after this kind of match

@schnejan He played great for the most part and yes, was definitely struggling. But he lent back on a couple of forehands, yielding ground to Alcaraz, who just went for it. For me, at least, that was the difference at the end

Regarding his career overall I would agree with Simon 100% - today not 100% with this take. Seemed also like a physical topic. Had problems in all of his service games before. He reached a death end I felt. So it was a combination. Alcaraz managed to find 5 more gears somehow
