Extase WW after grass ley. Knocked in before monsoon season. Weathered well considering. Lots of slug pressure elsewhere.

We’ve had nearly a third of our annual rainfall in 6 days. Let’s hope the rest of autumn is a bit kinder.

Extase Winter Wheat direct drilled into 2 year legume fallow to get on top of grassweeds. In for 2 years, grazed with sheep, LD Subsoiled then DD with Avatar with high seed rate early October. Walks a dream.

Polysulphate, AN, urea and Liquid Fert applications are finally going on. Spreaders and sprayers travelling surprisingly well…

Nice to get back out under some blue sky. OSR kicking on. Need some NS as soon as conditions will travel

SFI Num3 (Legume Fallow) - for anyone wondering whether a Spring sown legume mix can deliver pollinator benefits, then this clip taken late July from one of our Dorset farms shows what can be achieved. Used as a "fallow break" crop ahead of wheat this Autumn @CCC_agronomy
