I end my classes with a “check out” so, let’s round out this Twitter time. Will you check out with me? I’d love it if you can share with me how you’re feeling now. Remember, we’re in this together! #MWSoTL 10/10

Excited to kick off #MWSoTL Twitter Conference! I’m Dr. D, a prof at #IUSB. I teach in UG Health Sciences. I will share some ideas for being your authentic self while teaching (online or in-person) with hopes to build connection and belonging in the classroom. #MWSoTL 1/10

@CCRI_UW A5: Too many leaders don't believe that systemic injustices exist..Thought Leaders are critical in challenging this mindset that runs counter to all objective evidence that this is a real issue #ccrichat

A5- Yes. It's not just about recruiting more Black and Latinx faculty but also supporting them. Need to re-evaluate our processes to ensure they don't promote institutional racism. #CCRIchat

@CCRI_UW A5 We have to direct resources to the most vulnerable students (that is what equity is about); not giving everyone the same. Same goes for faculty and staff (in terms of prof dev, hiring pipelines, mentoring, etc). #ccrichat

@CCRI_UW A5: Accept that systemic racism is real; work like hell to dismantle it daily. Advocate for students of color by advancing racial equity-focused policies, promote racial equity-focused procedures and practices, fund equity-focused programs/educational opportunities. #CCRIchat
